VeHARVEST
VeHARVEST is a unique tool in the electronic discovery arena. What do you do when millions of pages of data must be analyzed and relevant files segregated for review? Historically, the corporate technical and legal personnel have been tasked with identifying and segregating all files that may contain relevant information. Once this is done, all data is then forwarded to counsel for review. This process generally is very time consuming and in many cases the data is incomplete. This is especially difficult in a corporate environment that may consist of several data servers, email servers, and employee workstations or laptops.
With the VeHARVEST application, both time and completeness issues are addressed. Our team of experts work with counsel to identify the users and the areas of the network that will require review. Once the review areas have been determined, the VeHARVEST collection spider is engaged and begins to catalog all files within the designated area, capturing the file metadata and file text. Files are systematically reviewed using the case specific criteria and search terms to identify and quarantine relevant files for further analysis.VeHARVEST gathers millions of pages of information in hours, segregating relevant files for subsequent review by counsel. Most importantly, theVeHARVEST application is a self contained tool that is run from its own server allowing harvesting to take place during normal operating hours and WITHOUT business interruption.
